Ow
Tonight I went for my first run in I don’t know how long. I managed to hold out for maybe 5 minutes before I needed to take a breather. Then another 2 minutes until the next one. All in all, I was outside for about 15 minutes but running for maybe 9 of those. I’m thinking of making this midnight jog a nightly routine, or maybe every two nights.
Got myself some half-price Easter chocolate today. Bought $12 worth. Too much. Too much. Those Lindor eggs are way, way too sweet, so as to make you feel sick after only half a bag.
I’m gonna be fat. While I was in Shopper’s I also got a new battery for my Rolex. Unfortunately, the lady was old and most likely all but blind, and so she gave me the wrong battery. Being me, I assumed that she knew what she was doing, and even went so far as to throw out the receipt before testing it. Typical. My mom’s always telling me I have way too much trust that other people won’t screw up. That’s probably a bad thing for a doctor to do.
I’m still waiting for X-Files Season 7 to download. I’ve watched 1 through 6 already, and I figure if I’m dedicated I should be able to finish all 9 seasons before the semester’s out.
I have to get up in the morning sometime this week to go talk to Anne about the Co-op website. Ungh. I hate mornings, especially those I’m awake for. There are a few things that they would like added to the website, and that means time. I just wish it was out of my hands… And I want to update the Aditude website, too; I’ve decided that it isn’t as pretty as it could be. But boy are those XSLTs cool. Go XML! Too bad I don’t fully understand tranforms, even though I wrote them. And I should probably write a nice little PHP script so that I won’t have to manually update the XML every time they need something changed. Damn my laziness.
I’ve also been tinkering with private.cyaxares.net, which is not something any of you have access to. Needless to say, it’s shaping up to be a pretty cool place. For example, I set up VideoDB there, and inputted all my DVD+Rs. I’ve been too lazy to put in all my DivX, because that’s a rather large collection. The software itself is really sweet, though. The guy who coded that definitely knows his stuff, in my opinion.
That’s all, folks.
P.S. For those who now think I’m loaded, the “Rolex” cost about as much as a replacement battery.

Oh Aidan, you do make yourself such a target sometimes!
I’m enjoying my chocolate too.
