In other news, I’ll be heading out to a QMO retreat where we’ll do all manner of bonding games. It should be fun!
Biochem’s undergrad chair has agreed to let me keep my current organic chemistry course instead of making me retake it in a slightly different form. I’ll still be meeting with him, though it’s being rescheduled to next week. That’s where I try to convince him that my 61 in biochem was a freak occurrence and that I should still be allowed to take a biochem medial…
I’m going to try applying to NSERC undergrad research awards this year. My marks certainly aren’t that high, but I’m hoping that enough of the other applicants are really, really stupid. Hopefully I’ll be doing something in genetics or molecular biology, but we’ll see.
This semester’s looking like it’s going to be the same as always; mostly really boring with one or two interesting course that destroy my average.
