I ordered a replacement for my iPod battery (which crapped out just outside my extended warranty) from Kokopelli Music. I must admit, their site doesn’t exactly scream “professional,” but they were cheap. I ordered it, and got a package notice on the same day I sent an email asking where the hell it was (oops). The replacement instructions could be clearer, but the hardest part was probably trying to force the battery in (since it is slightly larger than the original). It’s charging now, so we’ll see how things go. It’d be nice to be able to take my iPod with me around campus again, I miss it.

Edit: The replacement battery works fine from what I can tell. I accidentally forgot to attach the headphones to the logic board, though, so I had to crack it open again. It was a pain. Those tools are definitely single-use (at least the way I use them).
