Yesterday I wrote to the Prime Minister of South Korea
I went to an Amnesty International meeting last night, and it was good. I plan on going again.
I also met someone randomly in the Common Ground. She overheard me talking about genocide and started a conversation.
I’ve taken to sitting in the Common Ground to read. I find that I’m much more focussed when I don’t have my laptop and television distracting me. What I’m reading these days:
- Last book I finished: Race Against Time – Stephen Lewis
- Books I’m currently reading: Shake Hands With the Devil – Romeo Dallaire, Machete Season – Jean Hatzfeld
- Book I’m going to read next: From Beirut to Jerusalem – Thomas Friedman
I’m so deep.
