- NetNewsWire for RSS (syncs with Google Reader and my iPod Touch)
- Quicksilver, because it’s awesome
- iStat Menus to monitor my network and CPU usage
- Google Chrome for web browsing
- Development:
- Adobe Creative Suite 3 for the obvious
- Sequel Pro as a replacement for phpMyAdmin
- SQLEditor for designing databases
- XAMPP for web development on my laptop
- TextMate for all text editing
- Fink to give me access to all those nice Linux-y tools that I love so much
- Data:
- R for statistical fun
- Miscellaneous:
- File Juicer to extract JPGs/text/everything from PDFs, PPTs, ISOs, etc. It’s definitely worth the money.
- iChm for viewing CHM files on my Mac
